Throughout my time volunteering with Mansions of the Future art space in Lincoln I have been able to be apart of a creative space, sharing and collaborating creative ideas. I have done this by participating and documenting events, for example, photographing an exhibition of the artist Hoda Afshar, ROTA workshops, a panel discussion and an artist talk.

In my Documentation process, I would attend the following events and photograph from different angles and experiment with showing the subject as much as possible. I aim to capture the moments of the event and promote the stories of how the art space has a positive impact. I would then edit the results for them to be put on Instagram and social media pages.

Apart from the Rota Workshops included making Zines where I helped with providing ideas and learning about what makes a place a home.

I also took part in Making up your street 2019 helping out in a couple of practical workshops. The workshops helped to give people the chance to try and experiment with felt making, jewellery making, t-shirt print designing, sewing and pottery. This allowed me to learn skills by trying new things and build on ones I already had experience in.
